LVR EVENT STYLING for EMILY & MITCH

It was such a pleasure to work with Emily across so many special elements of her wedding day.

Emily first came to us in search of her wedding dress, and fell for Piece 60 by Australian designer L’eto. It was the perfect starting point for the day — chic, relaxed and completely effortless.

From there, we carried that feeling through the other details of the wedding, creating a celebration that felt considered and cohesive, while still feeling very much like Emily & Mitch.

A flowing fabric backdrop framed the ceremony, draped between two large trees at the back of a vast stretch of lawn. Surrounded by rolling hills lined with olive trees and native New Zealand foliage, the setting was incredibly simple, but made an impact.

Rich plum-toned florals by the talented Ainsley from Floralcentric clustered around Emily and Mitch, bringing depth and colour to the ceremony. Emily’s bouquet of white orchids and deep plum tones tied everything together beautifully.

We carried the draped, textural feel through to the alfresco dining area, framing the entrance with flowing fabric and wrapping the same detail around plinths layered with tonal florals.

Emily had a distinct vision for her veil — she wanted to add a touch of texture with lace, but didn’t want it to feel too fussy. We worked with her to create a custom piece with just the right feel — modern, minimal and the perfect pairing with the sleek silhouette of her dress. A subtle layer of texture that kept the overall look feeling relaxed and effortless.

The weather was perfect, and the whole day had that unmistakable classic Kiwi summer feeling. Set amongst the beautiful olive groves of Allpress - The Ranch on Waiheke Island, guests were treated to a relaxed, joyful and festive celebration.

Emily and Mitch really shone on their day, surrounded by the people they love most. Ash Muir captured it all so beautifully through her lens, from the big moments to the quieter ones in between. We especially love these black and white images — Emily and Mitch completely relaxed into the day once the formalities were over, just enjoying being together and taking it all in.
