We shot our Hand in Hand collection in the workroom of Rachel Mills, where all our gowns are sampled, made, and altered.

Rachel isn’t just someone we work with, she’s a core part of our LVR world. She’s been with us from the beginning, and we really wanted to celebrate that connection.

Go behind the scenes of the LVR Bridal Hand in Hand photoshoot — an editorial bridal collection captured with modern styling and creative direction.

The photos were taken in her space exactly as it is, sewing machines, pattern tables, half-finished garments and all - because that’s where the magic happens.

Connection is huge for us. It’s at the heart of everything we do, connection to our brides, to our makers, to other women in the industry who lift each other up. The shoot was about that. About community. About making things here in Tāmaki Makaurau, where our boutique is just a 10-minute drive from Rachel’s workroom. Having that closeness means EVERYTHING.

We can be hands-on with every piece, keep quality high, and support local production in a time where so many brands have had to move offshore.

And then there's the team. Our dream team. We shoot together once a year when Emma (Emma Anderson, photographer and one of our best friends) comes home from NYC. Our model, Tia Woods, is also a long-time friend and total powerhouse, being able to create with women we love and admire is what makes these shoots so special. This year we also welcomed some new faces into the mix, Arielle from The Aisle for BTS content, and The Peach Club for hair and makeup.

It just felt right, and very LVR, to build that circle a little wider this year.
